If you find that the kettle sensor is not logging data when the kettle is boiled, it's possible that the sensor may not be fully synced. Here's a quick guide on how to check and rectify the issue:
1. Check the Sensor Light:
First, take a look at the light on the side of the kettle sensor. It should be illuminated in green when the sensor is functioning correctly.
2. Orange or Off Light:
If you notice that the light is orange or turned off, simply press the sensor button once. After doing so, wait for a few seconds to a minute. During this time, the light should transition from orange or off to green.
3. Sensor Back Online:
Once the light is green, the sensor should be back online and ready to log data when you boil the kettle.
4. App Device Check:
Go to the 'Devices' section accessible from the left-hand menu of the app. Here it will display whether the kettle sensor is online or offline, and the last active time or date.
