If you suspect your sensors are not functioning properly, here are some steps to verify their status and troubleshoot:
1. Vibration Sensors (chair, tap, bathroom door, and toilet sensor): - Give them a firm tap; a working sensor will flash a green light.
2. Door Sensors (front and fridge door): - Test by opening and closing the door; a green light should flash with each action. If there's no flash, check the magnet's placement to ensure it's passing by the sensor correctly.
3. App Device Check: - Go to the 'Devices' section accessible from the left-hand menu of the app. Here, each sensor's status is displayed, showing whether it's online or offline, the battery percentage, and the last active time or date, along with the home-hub's status.
4. Battery Check: - If no green light flashes during your checks, the batteries might be depleted and need replacing.
Wearable Data Sync: - If the wearable data isn't reflecting on the app despite the wearable being charged and displaying data, it might be a range issue. Ensure the wearable is within range of the home-hub by placing it nearby for about 10-15 minutes to allow data transfer from the wearable to the home-hub, and subsequently to the app.
By following these steps, you can ascertain whether your sensors are operational and address common issues that might hinder their performance or data reporting to the app.
