The home-hub is used to communicate with the MySense platform. This home-hub has a SIM card so you don't have to connect to your WiFi. However, if mobile coverage is poor, we do recommend using the ethernet cable in the box to connect it to your broadband router. Check the coverage in your area here.
The home-hub should be centrally located between living areas and powered on at all times.
If using internet connection:
Plug the ethernet cable into your home-hub (second port on the side of the home-hub) into the ethernet port on the back of the home internet router. Plug the home-hub into power.
If there is no home internet:
Plug the home-hub in to the most centrally located power plug in the home. The connectivity strength can be checked in Devices. Connectivity is displayed as three bars, the more bars, the better connectivity. Things that can affect connectivity within the home are things like particularly dense walls, metal beams and longer distances through the home such as through several walls or floors. If there is one bar, try the home-hub in another location.
Attach the antenna by inserting it in to the round port and turning it until it is tight, point the antenna to the roof.
When the home-hub is online, green lights will show under the grey circle, internet icon and power icon.
