How to change the batteries in a sensor?

To change the batteries in a sensor: 

1. Remove the Sensor from the Backing Strip
Press down on the ridged area at the top of the sensor and slide it backwards to detach it from the 3M adhesive backing.

2. Replace the Batteries
Remove the old batteries and insert two new AAA batteries, making sure to align them correctly with the polarity (+/–) markings.

3. Reattach the Sensor
Slide the sensor back onto the installed 3M backing strip until it clicks into place.

4. Check for LED Light
A flashing green LED indicates that the sensor is powered and reconnecting. 

The sensor will automatically reconnect and display the updated battery level in the system. This may take a few minutes.
