How to install the kettle sensor

To install the kettle sensor :

• Put the plug in the power outlet used for the kettle in the kitchen.
• Plug the kettle plug into the sensor.
• Ensure the wall socket is switched on.
• Select 'Pair' on the Kettle in 'Devices' .
• Boil the kettle and check the sensor activity graph in "Events" to ensure the data is coming through. 

The kettle sensor has a small light on the left-hand side.  This should light up green when it is online and active. If this light shows orange it means the connection needs to be reset. To do this, press the light itself once (you will feel it “click”).  Soon after, the light should return to green and the smart plug will be operational again.

The kettle sensor will appear "offline" in "Devices" on the app if it is turned off at the wall.
