If a sensor is showing as offline or unpaired it will need to be re-paired to bring it back online and resume data collection. This typically happens after the batteries have been replaced, or if the wearable's battery has been allowed to run down, and has not been charged for some time.
Note: Only the individual with the MySense app installed and the registered Next of Kin can maintain or re-pair devices.
Follow these steps to remove and repair sensors:
-
Log into the MySense app.
-
Go into Devices on the top, left hand side menu.
-
If the sensor is showing as "Unpaired" then select Re-pair inside the device card.
-
If the sensor is showing as offline, select "Unpair Sensor", "Confirm" to confirm you want to unpair the sensor. Press "Done" to take you back to the devices page. Select the device again.
-
Follow the on-screen pairing guide for the selected sensor.
-
For tap, toilet, chair, door sensors, and the wearable, you will need to place the sensor directly on top of the home hub.
-
Select the “Re-pair” button.
-
This will begin the pairing process, it may take 5 minutes to re-pair and show back online.
If the bed sensor needs to be re-paired, you will need to contact support@mysense.ai.
