They are designed to specifically measure various activities and metrics including vibrations (as detected by tap, toilet, bathroom and chair sensors), door openings and closings (for front door, and fridge door), step count and heart rate (through the wearable), kettle boiling (via the kettle sensor), and time spent in bed (captured by the bed sensor).
Through these measurements, the sensors help monitor and analyse daily routines and wellbeing without intruding on personal privacy.
The bed sensor has microphone capabilities however, we do not utilise this feature. All other sensors incorporated in our system do not possess any camera or microphones, and hence, do not have the capability listen or record.
