How do I re-pair a sensor?

In some situations, you may need to remove a sensor with the app and reconnect it to the home hub to get it registered again. This usually happens after batteries have been replaced, or if the wearable's battery has been allowed to run down, and has not been charged for some time.

These are the steps to remove, and then repair the sensors:

  1. In the app, go into “Devices” under the menu on the left.

  2. Long press on the sensor or device that you want to remove, and then re-add

  3. The sensor should be highlighted, with a purple tick box appearing to the right-hand side. At the bottom of the screen, a button will appear saying “Delete this 1 device”.

  4. Tap on the “Delete this 1 device” button to remove it.

  5. Next to the sensor in question, it will now show the word “Pair” instead of the usual battery level.

  6. Tap where it says “Pair” for the sensor you want to reconnect.

  7. You will be presented with a short guide on how to pair the sensor in question.

  8. For tap, toilet, chair, door sensors, and the wearable, you will need to place the sensor directly on top of the home hub.

  9. For the sleep sensor you will be prompted to type in the "ssid" and the "password" for your home-hub. These can both be found on the bottom of your home-hub.

  10. Back in the app, tap on the “Start Pairing” button that has appeared on the instructions screen at the bottom.

  11. This will begin the pairing process, it may take 5 to 15 minutes for a sensor to fully re-pair and show back online.

  12. You might need to refresh the screen in the app for this to show in some cases.
