The kettle sensor isn't picking up when I boil the kettle, how do I check it is working?

If the kettle sensor doesn’t seem to be logging when the kettle is boiled, it may not be fully syncing. The light on the side of the sensor should be green. If the light is orange or off, simply press once and after a few seconds to a minute it will turn green, and the sensor should be back online.
